About the Role:
As an IT Support Intern, you will assist the IT team in providing technical support to end users, ensuring that hardware, software, and network resources are available and functioning properly. You will learn how to manage IT assets, resolve help desk tickets, and document procedures, gaining hands-on experience in day-to-day IT operations within a fast-paced business environment.
What you will do:
- Provide first-level technical support to end users (hardware, software, networks, and peripherals).
- Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining computers and office equipment.
- Support user account, access, and password management.
- Monitor and help resolve help desk tickets under supervision.
- Assist in documenting procedures and maintaining the IT asset inventory.
- Collaborate with IT staff on small projects and system upgrades.
Basic Qualifications:
- Active student in 6th, 7th, or 8th semester pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or related field.
- Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, or Linux).
- Familiarity with MS Office tools and basic networking concepts.
- Good communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Ability to work part-time, up to 30 hours per week.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous internship or academic project related to IT support.
- Familiarity with Azure cloud
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365, or Google Workspace.
