We're looking for a curious, detail-oriented IT Intern to join our IT & Security team. You'll be the first point of contact for internal IT support, help keep our global fleet of devices and software secure and organized, and contribute to the projects that keep Swapcard's remote-first team running smoothly.
What You'll Be Doing
Employee Support: Act as the first point of contact for internal IT helpdesk requests, troubleshooting hardware, software, and access issues for our remote team members.
Onboarding & Offboarding: Assist with the provisioning and de-provisioning of SaaS accounts (Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, Jira, etc.) for new and departing Swapcardians.
Asset Management: Help track and manage our global inventory of hardware and software licenses, ensuring our device management systems (MDM) are up to date.
Security & Compliance: Support the IT & Security team in maintaining our high cybersecurity standards. Help ensure that all employee devices are secure, compliant, and correctly configured according to our SOC 2 and ISO 27001 frameworks.
Documentation: Create and update internal IT documentation, knowledge base articles, and how-to guides to empower employees with self-service troubleshooting.
Process Improvement: Bring a “Curious” mindset to identify repetitive IT tasks and help the team automate workflows to improve efficiency.
What We're Looking For
Recently completed a degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows/macOS), and common SaaS tools.
Familiarity with device/endpoint management concepts (MDM) is a plus.
An interest in cybersecurity and compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
Strong problem-solving skills and a genuinely curious, self-starting attitude.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, comfortable working with a fully remote, international team.
Fluent in English.
