We are working with a leading financial services business on this placement. Our client is a financial subsidiary of a global advisory firm with over 35 years of experience, a business that manages the financial futures of South African companies and puts its members first in everything it does. They provide an end-to-end solution across healthcare, retirement fund, and financial planning needs, backed by both international analytical depth and a genuinely personalised local service.

Purpose of the Role:

Our client has invested in building a Zoho ecosystem that supports how their business operates day to day. As that ecosystem grows, so does the need for someone who can make sure the people using it are never left stuck.

This is a role that matters. When a system issue goes unresolved, work stops. When a user cannot figure out how to do something, they lose confidence in the tools meant to help them. You will be the person who prevents that from happening, and in doing so, makes the technology investment worthwhile for everyone.

The opportunity is based in Johannesburg and is a 12-month FTC.

Responsibilities:

System & User Support

  • Acting as the first point of contact for all Zoho-related user queries and issues across the business
  • Receiving, logging, and managing support tickets, ensuring timely resolution or well-documented escalation
  • Diagnosing system issues, identifying root-causes, and resolving where within your capability
  • Providing regular reporting on support queries, trends, and response times

User Enablement & Training Support

  • Assisting users with system navigation and basic functionality across the Zoho ecosystem
  • Providing onboarding guidance and training support for new users joining the platform
  • Developing and maintaining user guides, FAQs, and knowledge base articles that reduce repeat queries

Continuous Improvement

  • Identifying recurring issues and collaborating with administrators and implementation teams to address root-causes rather than symptoms
  • Staying informed on Zoho platform updates and communicating relevant changes to users proactively
  • Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement by surfacing what you observe from the frontline of support


Requirements

Here is what we need you to bring on day one:

  • A relevant degree in Engineering, IT, Information Systems, or a related field
  • A genuine interest in how software systems work and a natural instinct to figure out why something is not working
  • The ability to communicate clearly and patiently, in writing and in person, with people who may not share your technical background
  • An organised, methodical approach to your work. You follow through on what you commit to and you do not let things fall through the cracks
  • Basic familiarity with CRM systems or business software of any kind. You do not need to know Zoho specifically. You need to be comfortable learning a new platform quickly
