We are seeking a highly experienced Data Warehouse Functional Analyst to take a key role in analyzing business requirements, designing robust data warehouse solutions, and overseeing the successful implementation and ongoing maintenance of data warehouse systems. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation, ensuring system integrity, and actively contributing to data governance initiatives to enhance data quality and compliance.

What you’ll do:

• You will analyze and interpret business requirements to design efficient and scalable data warehouse solutions.

• You will ensure the effective implementation, maintenance, and optimization of data warehouse systems.

• You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into data solutions.

• You will create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data warehouse systems and solutions.

• You will play a key role in the upcoming data governance initiatives, supporting data quality and compliance efforts.

• You will troubleshoot, optimize, and improve data warehouse systems as needed to meet evolving business needs.

Who you are :

• You have 3-5 years of experience as a Data Functional Analyst (DWH, Business Intelligence) or within a Data Governance team.

• You are proficient in SQL, data modeling, ETL tools, and data warehousing concepts.

• You are highly skilled in SQL and possess a deep understanding of data modeling and ETL processes.

• You are knowledgeable about core data warehousing concepts and architectures.

• You are fluent in English, both written and spoken. Fluency in Italian is a plus.

• You have strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to handle complex datasets.

• You demonstrate excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• You have experience with version control and collaboration tools like GIT, Collibra, Alation, or Confluence.

• You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.

Preferably, you also have:

• You have experience with cloud-based data warehouse platforms such as AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Azure Synapse.

• You have knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices.

• You are familiar with Agile or Scrum methodologies.

• A Master’s degree in a relevant discipline is preferred but not required.
