SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
In this role, you will provide hands-on IT support to local users, ensuring smooth operations and a seamless digital experience. You will troubleshoot systems, manage installations, and contribute to the implementation of global IT standards. This role is based in Banani at Dhaka, reporting directly to the Finance Manager.Responsibilities:
- Assist and support end-users by trouble-shooting IT systems and software.
- Install and configure PCs in compliance with Jotun’s standard setup and procedures.
- Contribute to the implementation of global IT standards in alignment with company guidelines.
- Monitor and follow up on support requests to make sure issues are fixed quickly or sent to the right technical team if needed.
- Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to ensure efficient procurement, maintenance, and timely upgrades of IT systems and infrastructure.
- Conduct training sessions to help users learn and use computer systems and digital tools effectively.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFER
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in IT support or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of IT systems, hardware, software, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal, with effective communication skills.
