We are seeking an experienced IT Director to lead the technology organization in India and support the continued growth of the business. This role will be responsible for aligning technology strategy with business priorities, ensuring reliable and secure IT operations, and enabling business transformation through modern enterprise platforms.

The IT Director will work closely with business leaders in India as well as regional IT teams across APJ to ensure strong alignment between local requirements and global technology priorities. The role requires a strong blend of technology leadership, business partnership, and operational execution.

A key aspect of the role will be leveraging enterprise platforms, particularly SAP, as a driver of business transformation. Beyond system management, the leader will help shape how core business processes evolve through the effective use of enterprise technologies. The role will also involve identifying opportunities to apply emerging technologies, including AI, to solve business problems, improve productivity, and enhance decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

IT Strategy and Leadership

  • Lead the IT strategy and execution for India aligned with regional and global technology priorities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leadership, translating business goals into technology solutions

  • Build and lead a high performing IT organization that supports the growth and evolving needs of the business

Enterprise Platforms and Business Transformation

  • Provide leadership and oversight for enterprise systems with a strong focus on SAP platforms

  • Leverage SAP capabilities to support transformation of core business processes including finance, supply chain, and operations

  • Work closely with regional and global teams to support SAP implementations, enhancements, and ongoing platform evolution

Technology Operations, Governance and Security

  • Provide leadership oversight for IT operations across infrastructure, enterprise applications, and end user services, ensuring reliability, scalability, and alignment with business needs

  • Coordinate with internal teams and strategic partners to maintain strong service delivery and operational performance

  • Ensure adherence to corporate IT governance, security standards, and regulatory requirements while maintaining strong cybersecurity and risk management practices across all technology platforms

Digital Innovation and AI Enablement

  • Identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies, including AI and automation, to address business challenges and improve operational efficiency

  • Partner with business and regional technology teams to explore practical AI use cases that enhance productivity, decision making, and customer outcomes

Regional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with regional IT teams across APJ to align on architecture, standards, and technology roadmaps

  • Ensure strong coordination between global platforms and local business requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

  • 15+ years of experience in IT leadership roles within complex enterprise environments

  • Strong experience with enterprise applications and deep understanding of SAP environments

  • Proven track record of leveraging enterprise platforms such as SAP to support business transformation and process improvement

  • Exposure to emerging technologies including AI, data analytics, or automation, with the ability to apply them to solve business problems

  • Experience working in global organizations and collaborating with regional and global technology teams

  • Strong leadership experience managing teams, vendors, and technology initiatives at scale

  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to partner effectively with senior business leaders
