We are seeking a Director of Automation to lead enterprise‑wide Revenue and Sales automation initiatives across a large, highly integrated B2B SaaS platform operating at global scale.
This role owns the strategy, architecture, delivery, and operational excellence of automation across mission‑critical revenue workflows—including Lead‑to‑Cash (L2C), Quote‑to‑Cash (Q2C), billing, compliance‑sensitive handoffs, and downstream financial systems.
You will lead a centralized automation function that leverages n8n and Workato as primary orchestration platforms, ensuring thatautomation is deterministic, auditable, scalable, and revenue‑safe. This role partners deeply with Sales, Revenue Operations, Finance, Legal, Product, and Engineering and serves as the executive owner of automation outcomes tied directly to revenue integrity and business growth.
Automation Strategy & Ownership
- Define and own the enterprise automation strategy for Revenue and Sales systems
- Establish standards, governance, and best practices for automation using n8n and Workato
- Ensure automation aligns with revenue accuracy, financial controls, audit requirements, and scalability expectations
- Drive automation maturity from tactical workflows to platform‑level orchestration
- Own automation across end‑to‑end revenue workflows: Lead → Opportunity → Quote → Order → Contract → Billing → Revenue Recognition → Renewal
- Ensure seamless orchestration across systems such as:
- CRM (Sales Cloud, CPQ, Service platforms)
- Billing and invoicing platforms
- ERP and finance systems
- Compliance, classification, and transaction services

- Partner with RevOps and Finance leaders to improve:
- Revenue predictability

- Establish delivery excellence across discovery, build, UAT, release, and post‑production support

- Ensure revenue‑impacting automations meet internal controls and external compliance requirements
- Partner with Security, Legal, and Finance on risk assessments and mitigation strategies

Requirements
- 12+ years of experience across systems, automation, or integration platforms
- 5+ years in senior leadership roles owning enterprise‑scale automation or platform teams

Benefits
This is a full‑time Contract‑to‑Hire position offering a salary range of $180,000 to $200,000, based on experience and leadership depth.
