Job Summary
The IT DevOps Analyst reports to the Vice President of System Development and supports application development, deployment, and monitoring through Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and infrastructure automation. The role frequently collaborates with senior developers, solution architects, and infrastructure teams to enhance cloud workflows and application observability using modern tools and practices.

Duties and Responsibilities
Maintains and enhances CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
Assists with the deployment of application code across development, test, and production environments
Collaborates with the infrastructure team to write and manage Terraform scripts for cloud resource provisioning
Implements monitoring and observability solutions using tools such as Application Insights, OpenTelemetry, and/or New Relic
Follows established deployment practices and assists in evolving those practices over time
Reviews build and deployment logs to identify errors and potential areas for improvement
Documents DevOps processes and contributes to internal runbooks and playbooks
Performs other duties as assigned to support the success of the team and business
Required Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in IT support, infrastructure, or development and a bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems or related technical field required, or an equivalent combination of experience and education
Foundational understanding of source control (Git) and basic scripting or automation concepts required
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with cloud computing, DevOps practices, and infrastructure-as-code preferred
Experience with Azure DevOps for builds and deployments preferred
Exposure to automation tools (e.g., Terraform, PowerShell) preferred
Familiarity with monitoring tools like Application Insights, New Relic, or OpenTelemetry preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of source control (Git) and basic scripting or automation concepts
Knowledge of cloud computing, DevOps practices, and infrastructure-as-code
Technical skills with Azure DevOps to build and deploy
Technical skills with automation tools (e.g., Terraform, PowerShell)
Ability to learn and apply technical depth in cloud and DevOps technologies
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
Ability to follow documented processes and work under the guidance of senior team members
Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Computer skills with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
