The IT Developer – BY WMS is responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing Warehouse Management System functionality using Blue Yonder (RedPrairie/JDA) tools and frameworks. This role focuses on hands-on development, system configuration, debugging, and supporting day-to-day warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop customizations using MOCA, SQL, DDA, Reports, Labels, and PageBuilder.
- Implement enhancements, defect fixes, and small-to-medium feature requests.
- Participate in requirement analysis and provide technical feasibility input.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT cycles.
- Maintain strong code quality, documentation, and adherence to BY WMS standards.
- Collaborate with functional analysts, QA teams, and senior developers to deliver changes.
- Support warehouse operations during deployment, hypercare, and production steady state.
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide root-cause analysis.
- Develop inbound/outbound interfaces using BY Integrator, APIs, or message queues (if applicable).
