Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Service Cloud Architect, based in the headquarter in Milan of Prysmian Group. The candidate will report to the Global Infrastructure & Operation Manager and work within the IT department. He/her can manage complex infrastructures such as Data Center, Public Cloud, Virtual Farm and has experience in project management for multifaced IT architecture.

The candidate will coordinate third party services and external contractors.

He/her main responsibilities will be:

• The analysis, the evaluation and the deployment of company’s cloud infrastructure

• Cooperate with the Infrastructure Team and with external suppliers during all phases of the deployment and maintenance of the Cloud environments

• Define Cloud Architecture and Ecosystem

• Select Cloud Management Platform

• Develop a Cloud culture within the company showing how to embrace cloud computing

• Identify new cloud solutions or features useful to the business

• Identify and work with other groups to coordinate application interdependencies

• Ensure Cloud platforms are updated and stable

• Investigate the Cloud IT market solution and harmonize the traditional infrastructure with new cloud technologies

We are looking for:

· At least 8 to 10 years of professional experience in a similar role within a multinational company and complex organization

· A Master’s degree in IT or related disciplines

· An “hands-on” approach, working in a dynamic and fast paced environment

· Excellent communication skills at all level of the organization

· A good ability to speak in public, to negotiate and solve problems

· Able to manage people and motivate teams

· Excellent attitude to work in large teams

· Available to travel internationally
