Position: IT Business Analyst 

The IT Business Analyst leads mid-level requirements analysis and solution design activities supporting client implementation activities, system enhancements, workflow improvements, and integration efforts.  The role partners with internal teams, external clients, and vendor partners to ensure requirements are clearly defined, documented, and validated across the implementation lifecycle. 

 

Responsibilities
  • Lead requirements gathering with internal teams, clients, and vendor partners.
  • Create detailed documentation including user stories, functional specs, file specs, and process flows. 
  • Support client onboarding and assist with integration requirements and workflow coordination.
  • Develop current- and future-state workflow documentation and process maps.
  • Facilitate implementation readiness activities, including dependency alignment and risk identification. 
  • Participate in planning through go-live, supporting UAT, and project documentation. 
  • Validate solutions using defined acceptance criteria; conduct basic data validation using Excel/SQL. 

 

Position Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or related field preferred, or any equivalent combination of education and or experience.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of analysis/analytical work experience in healthcare industry, preferably with health plans. 
  • Evidence of proficient analytical and communication skills; ability to lead mid-level analysis work.
  • Proficiency with Azure DevOps or Jira for user story and requirements management. 
  • Working knowledge of Excel and SQL for data analysis.
  • Understanding of system integrations, workflow automation, and implementation processes.
