We are now looking for a highly motivated IT Business Analyst to work in new challenging outsourced projects.
The IT Business Analyst acts as the primary liaison between the Business Units and the IT Department. The role is responsible for the systematic intake, assessment, prioritization, and high-level analysis of business demands originating from all the Business Units. This is a critical position as it ensures that incoming IT requests are accurately captured and translated into actionable high-level requirements, as well as they are introduced into the overall demand backlog after being properly qualified. The position reports to IT Project Management & Business Analysis Manager.
The position reports to the Business Analysis Lead, supporting the business analysis function across multiple projects.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into clear functional specifications and user stories
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes, identify gaps and document system requirements
- Produce structured documentation such as:
- Business Requirement Documents (BRDs)
- Functional specifications
- Process flows and use cases
- Support solution design discussions together with developers and technical leads
- Prepare initial functional test scenarios based on documented requirements in order to support the QA process
- Assist in validating delivered functionality through early-stage testing and requirement verification
- Work closely with the QA Engineer to ensure that test scenarios reflect the intended business behaviour of the system
- Maintain clear and updated documentation throughout the project lifecycle
- Participate in project workshops, requirement clarification sessions and user validation activities
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of business analysis practices and documentation standards within the team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
- 2–4 years of experience in roles such as: IT Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, Systems Analyst
- Good understanding of software development lifecycle and system analysis practices
- Experience documenting functional requirements and business processes
- Familiarity with modelling techniques such as UML or BPMN is considered a strong plus
- Exposure to Agile or hybrid delivery environments is desirable
- Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders
- Excellent command of the English language
- Competence in Business Analysis & Modelling Techniques such as UML/BPMN
- Certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMP (Project Management Professional) are nice-to-have
