What You’ll Do:

Traeger is seeking a Business Analyst to join our team. As our Business Analyst, you will plan, design, and gather requirements in support of prioritized projects for the Traeger Technology team. This includes gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements. The analyst meets with key stakeholders, end users, and other IT team members to design and plan the business and technical requirements for a portfolio of projects. The analyst has a deep understanding of data and data processes. The analyst is the key contributor to documentation of the requirements in preparation for development, representing both business and technical artifacts as part of the document. The analyst will also be involved in ticketing the requirements and ensures all requirements are accounted for in the development process.

How You’ll Help Us Win:

Strategy & Planning

  • Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and architects to define business and system requirements for new initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot and coordinate resolution of system issues.
  • Lead design sessions in diagramming and prototyping new system processes for the purpose of project documentation, creating artifacts and documentation for future onboarding.
  • Assist in reviewing and analyzing the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
  • Responsible for ensuring the requirements meet the scope of the project and are representative of both technology and business requirements.
  • Identify timelines to complete each requirement.

Testing & Deployment

  • Assist in planning and delivering technology solutions that meet requirements for the project.
  • Assist in the validation of a deployed projects to ensure functionality is operating as the requirements needed.

Operational Management

  • Assist in the configuration of the system in alignment with key strategies, projects and standards.
  • Create systems models, specifications, diagrams, charts and any other documentation to provide direction to system programmers.
  • Coordinate and perform in-depth tests for modified and new systems, and other post-implementation support.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • College diploma or university degree in business administration, computer science, accounting, or management information systems
  • 3+ years of related experience
  • Proven experience in overseeing the requirements gathering, business process design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products.
  • Working knowledge of AWS solutions and their application.
  • Working technical knowledge of databases, data processing, and system integrations.
  • Working knowledge of data reporting and analytics tools.
  • Excellent understanding of best practices for the entire software development lifecycle.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Lucid chart, Microsoft Productivity tools.
