Who you are:
As an IT Business Analyst II with Frost, you will apply a high level of technical application support experience to complex technology related activities. These task range in levels of considerable difficulty and importance. You will lend support to bank application users, financial centers, and technical staff, in resolving the more complex system application problems. In addition, you will provide support, guidance, and training to multiple staff members.
What you’ll do:
- Research and resolve complex processing/production problems of application systems
- Perform role in converting/enhancing processing systems by advising personnel on processing options
- Develops solutions to business problems by analyzing existing systems, procedures and designing technical improvements
- Offer leadership and guidance to business user in defining and documenting system needs or enhancements or functional requirements and corresponding business rules prior to design, development, and deployment
- Advise and train user personnel on system capabilities, as well as procedures, forms completion, balancing and report interpretation
- Assist in writing the more complex test scripts, overseeing the tests, and evaluating the results
- Maintain effective communication between business users and Data Services staff through telephone calls, e-mails, meetings, and written communications
- Answers telephone inquiries for information or problem-solving assistance
- Cross-trains on unassigned application systems with other department staff
- Supports the training of new staff in processes and procedures
- Performs all other duties as assigned
What you’ll need:
- 2+ years related IT industry experience
- Multi-tasking, self starter
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical and logical reasoning skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Experience with gathering and documenting requirements
- Experience with developing test plans/scripts
Additional Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor's degree
- Technical Experience in the Financial Industry
