About the role The IT Jr. Support is responsible for performing basic IT support tasks such as setting up equipment, assisting users, and following standard procedures. This role works under supervision and supports routine IT operations. This job profile is intended for entry-level support staff who follow specific instructions and procedures, with supervision provided for non-routine situations. Tasks can be carried out after basic training or demonstration.Key Responsibilities
- Assist with hardware and software setup and configuration.
- Provide basic technical support to users.
- Follow standard procedures for troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Maintain IT equipment and workspace organization.
- Escalate issues to senior support staff as needed.
- Skills & Qualifications
- May require basic vocational training (or equivalent work experience) and the ability to carry out assigned tasks after initial instruction or demonstration.
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of IT hardware and software.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office is a plus.
A requirement is that you will register yourself for the BBL program "ICT Support Technician" or "ICT system engineer" in Nijmegen (ROC), Arnhem (Rijn IJssel), or Breda (Curio). You attend school one day a week and work four days at our company.
Minimum B1 Dutch language level is required.
