For our Application Support squad, we are in search for an IT Chapter Lead with IT application DevOps experience to help us develop maintain and improve our IT application landscape.
In your role as a chapter lead you will guide your chapter according to the common purpose you will set. You will coach and develop your fellow engineers to get the best out of them and yourself every day.
The team
The squad consists of highly skilled engineers with in-depth knowledge. We want to extend the squad with someone that will help us raise and speed up the quality, resilience, reliability and automation of their delivery.
Roles and responsibilities
You will be responsible for the maintenance, development and improvements of the team’s delivery. Next to this you will play a crucial role within the development of the chapter members that you will be responsible for. You will be part of the MT of the IT Services Supercircle.

To be able to execute this job to the fullest we expect your backpack to contain:
- Lead and manage the IT operations team, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and career development.
- Oversee the management and maintenance of all IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and enterprise applications.
- Ensure high availability and reliability of IT systems through effective monitoring, maintenance, and support strategies.
- Develop and implement IT operational policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize efficiency and performance.
- Collaborate with other IT and business teams to ensure seamless integration and support for various IT initiatives and projects.
- Manage IT incident and problem management processes, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on business operations.
- Oversee the implementation and management of IT security measures, ensuring compliance with security standards and other requirements.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits of IT operations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and support.
- Lead IT operations projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and the implementation of new technologies.
- Prepare and manage the IT operations budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
Your education and background:
- Fluent in English
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support field, including at least 3 years of people management
- Service mentality and passion for working in an innovative team
- Fast learning, you watch trends in your area and are not afraid of applying new technologies and solutions
- Passionate about your field of expertise and ambitious, you want to grow as a person and professional
- Entrepreneurial work style, in which they regularly step “outside the walls” of your role to drive innovative thinking and practice
Wage (gross)
3250 EUR/month
*By legal requirement we are providing the information about the basic wage component (minimum salary) for the advertised position. Based on your experience/profile, the final financial conditions will be the subject to discuss and negotiate at the personal interview, however, not less than above mentioned minimum salary component.
