The McShane Company is looking for an IT Application Analyst!
As an IT Application Analyst I you will help support and maintain the business applications that teams rely on across The McShane Companies, our family of commercial, industrial, and multi-family general contracting businesses. This individual will be responsible for providing front-line application support, resolving common issues and helping users get the most out of their software.

Responsibilities:
- Respond to assigned service desk tickets for application issues within established service levels.
- Serve as an escalation point from Tier 1 support, gathering information and resolving common application requests.
- Troubleshoot routine application issues such as access requests, configuration questions, and usage guidance, escalating to senior analysts or vendors as needed.
- Help users navigate and get the most out of business applications already in place.
- Assist with testing new or updated application features and documenting the results.
- Help support application onboarding tasks, such as setting up user access and basic configuration, following established procedures.
- Maintain clear documentation and knowledge base content for common issues and how-to guidance.
- Establish and maintain healthy working relationships with customers, vendors, and peers, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience, is a plus.
• 1+ years of experience in application or software support, or a strong interest in starting an application support career.
• Basic understanding of business applications and technical troubleshooting approaches, tools, and techniques.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications and basic system configuration.
• Strong customer service orientation with good problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to keep information confidential.
