Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled IT Analyst Applications to join our FICO - CBS _CAT IT Team
The preference for this role is to be based out of Whitefield, Bangalore office
The incumbent role would be to help our business achieve its strategic objectives by enabling the delivery of new capabilities. As an information technology expert who can plan and design enterprise business solution to maximize business value, create flexibility for change and accelerate business outcome to help achieve digital finance transformation. Thus, Incumbent for this role would require a breadth of skills.

Job Roles and Responsibilities

• Experience in Solution Design and development for SAP IT FICO projects.
• Experience in writing & understanding financial requirements
• Applies broader view to the solutions to support adoption of standard practices and reusability.
• The individual must possess strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills. This role also requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Provide strong techo functional expertise on accounting, Finance and understanding of SAP modules like MM,SD,FICO.
• Strong Application integration knowledge with other modules like WMD/Xsuite, DigiGST, Tax solutions etc.
• Lead the issue resolution process with globally located Caterpillar IT support teams and external partners.
• Share functional knowledge of IT solutions with business partners to support their operational performance.
• Collect and document functional requirements for new projects or system enhancements.
• Experience in IT implementation projects
• This is an individual contribution role.

Skills, abilities and Knowledge

• Bachelor's or master's in computer science or software engineering, or Equivalent education with at least 4+ Years of experience (MCA, B.E / B Tech / M Tech)
• Experience in the following technologies SAP-FICO, SAP-MM, SAP-SD, WMD/Xsuite, DigiGST.
• 4-6 years' experience in various leadership roles in the planning, design and deployment of SAP's financial solutions
• 4 + years' experience in SAP FI/CO/AR/AP/Asset Management / Profitability Accounting/ Cost Center
• Involved with 1-2 End to End SAP Project Implementation & in-depth experience on SAP finance projects.
• In-depth finance business experience as a consultant working on SAP planning, design and implementation projects i.e. must have worked with the business and not only IT
• To be able to effectively communicate and relate to Finance senior and executive management at a client
• Experience working with multiple vendors and strong accounting/Finance implementation/support experience.
• Sound knowledge of SAP implementation projects.
• Experience with designing and configuring the SAP FICO system
• Good communication and Interpersonal skills.

Key skill:
• SAP FICO Techno- Functional consultant with 4 to 6 years of experience
Skills desired:
Core Application Systems : Knowledge of major production application systems used for delivery of services to internal and external clients; ability to leverage major production application systems in diverse situations.
Level Basic Understanding: • Describes basic elements and benefits of core applications supported by own area. • Names the organization's core application systems. • Names major business functions and services supported by core applications. • Locates and uses relevant documentation for core applications.
Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
Level Working Knowledge: • Identifies and documents specific problems and resolution alternatives. • Examines a specific problem and understands the perspective of each involved stakeholder. • Develops alternative techniques for assessing accuracy and relevance of information. • Helps to analyze risks and benefits of alternative approaches and obtain decision on resolution. • Uses fact-finding techniques and diagnostic tools to identify problems.
Application Design, Architecture: Knowledge of basic activities and deliverables of application design; ability to utilize application design methodologies, tools and techniques to convert business requirements and logical models into a technical application design.
Level Working Knowledge: • Works with specific development platforms, system and program design tools. • Participates in the technical design of a specific application. • Selects and presents design alternatives for applications of small to medium complexity. • Defines tasks, activities, deliverables and key concerns of technical design. • Assists in reviewing and documenting technical application designs
