Description

Nextworld, named #1 "Best Place to Work" in 2020, 2021, and 2022 by the Denver Business Journal, is a high-growth software development company based in the Denver Tech Center and is looking to hire an IT Analyst, 2 to work out of our Overland Park, KS location.

Nextworld is seeking an experienced IT Analyst to join our close-knit IT Team. This individual will help us navigate the demands of an increasingly complex business by keeping Nextworld "ahead of what's next". This role's responsibilities will be split into three areas of focus: support, maintenance/administration of infrastructure/apps/systems, and technology projects that support organizational goals. This is an opportunity to have direct involvement and impact on the direction of a company's Information technology strategy and to provide a tangible impact to the organization through technology.

Responsibilities

  • Manages incidents and service requests in the form of tickets.
  • Troubleshoot advanced technical issues and prioritize as needed.
  • Oversees the use of Microsoft 365 products and/or Microsoft 365 administration
  • Performs asset management tasks including desktop deployment for both Windows and Mac workstations.
  • Writes clear documentation including support articles and technical processes and procedures.
  • Leads training and onboarding sessions both 1-on-1 and with small groups of people.
  • Assists with and leads projects individually and as a team that solves business problems.
  • Manages problems that escalate beyond the status of an incident. Coordinates the appropriate team members to troubleshoot and resolve the problem.
  • Manages expenses and budgets relative to the goals of the organization.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field along with a minimum of two years of relevant experience, or a substantial five or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) systems.
  • Administration experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) applications.
  • Knowledge of networking principles.
  • Familiarity with Entra ID (Azure AD) identity management.
  • Competence in both Windows server and Linux operating systems.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
  • Experience working with cloud infrastructure, specifically Azure and/or AWS (Amazon Web Services).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cloud Migration experience.
  • Networking experience with zero-trust concepts, enterprise firewalls, or Meraki.

The position is located in Overland Park, KS. Nextworld's hybrid model has co-location in-office days on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
