Trustmark is seeking a motivated and curious college intern to support the development of AI-driven solutions for IT-focused case studies. This role is ideal for students who enjoy problem-solving, building solutions or proofs of concept, and exploring how emerging technologies can improve IT service delivery. The 2026 Summer Internship Program runs from June 1 to August 7.
Supports the development of AI-driven solutions for IT-focused case studies. Responsible for problem-solving, building solutions or proofs of concept, and exploring how emerging technologies can improve IT service delivery.Key AccountabilitiesDevelop 1‑page case studies focused on IT use cases such as: ServiceNow (e.g., virtual AI assistant, intelligent routing), Digital forms (i-Forms), and AI models that evaluate delivery health, identify issues, and surface themes
Assess IT challenges and propose AI-driven experiments or solution concepts.
Time permitting, design and deliver prototype solutions or proofs of concept.
Collaborate with IT teams to understand processes, pain points, and opportunities for automation or optimization.
GPA 3.2
Must be receiving a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in winter or spring/summer following the program dates to be considered for the program.
Experience with Python and SQL.
Exposure to UI development or UI frameworks.
Interest in AI/ML, automation, and experimentation.
Interest in cloud engineering (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to break down problems and propose creative solutions.
Curiosity and a willingness to learn.
Creative problem-solving capability.
Strong analytical thinking.
Ability to assess use cases, define solution options, and communicate recommendations clearly.
The compensation range for this role is the following based on the location of Lake Forest, Illinois:
$19.36 - $27.97 per hourThe final offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
