Position Summary:
The IT Administrator provides day‑to‑day technical support and assists with IT Operations for the Conroe site. This role supports local and remote users, helps maintain IT systems and infrastructure, and follows established IT policies and procedures to ensure reliable, secure operation of business systems. The position works closely with senior IT staff, site leadership, and global IT teams while developing technical and professional skills in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities (Includes but not limited to):
- Provide first‑ and second‑level IT support for end users, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and basic network connectivity
- Assist with user account administration, access requests, and permissions following security and compliance guidelines
- Support incident, request, and change tracking using Freshworks
- Perform routine system checks and escalate issues related to servers, networking, backups, or security to senior IT staff
- Assist with software installation, patching, and license tracking to ensure compliance with company standards
- Support IT compliance activities (SOX, access reviews, basic audit support) under guidance from senior team members
- Participate in IT security awareness efforts and follow cybersecurity best practices
- Assist with hardware lifecycle management, including asset tracking, imaging, deployment, and decommissioning
- Support backup monitoring and disaster recovery activities as directed
- Contribute to documentation of standard work instructions, procedures, and IT processes
- Collaborate with business users to understand issues and provide timely, professional support
- Participate in daily site meetings
- Other duties as assigned
