Job Summary:

As the Senior Director of Business Development you will play a vital role in helping to build a crucial division at North American Bancard.  We are growing this channel and have high expectations for an overachieving ISV focused salesperson who is familiar with the landscape of embedded payments. This ISV business development role requires a mindset of thinking outside of the box in order to create new relationships and growth opportunities with ISV’s and other platforms who need to embed payments into their software or service.  This position will challenge you to break the mold of the traditional ISV business development role and become an industry leader and influencer through social media and other creative ways to build a strong pipeline.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Recruit and develop new ISV partners primarily via self-generated leads by utilizing cold calling, professional networking, and personal connections and resources within the candidate’s network.

  • Manage ISV partner inquiries generated by company advertising campaigns, media events, and attendance at industry conferences.

  • Develop comprehensive, competitive proposals that drive new business opportunities.

  • Successfully lead negotiations and related contract terms (and related exhibits) that properly protect NAB’s business interest while also addressing partner needs to create a mutually beneficial relationship.

What we need from you: 

  • Previous experience in a hunting sales role selling into ISVs within the payments industry

  • High level of knowledge and has contacts within emerging verticals to build a strong pipeline

  • Qualification skills to be able to recognize high value opportunities and eliminate distractions

How to stand out:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred 

  • Minimum ten (10) years’ of recent merchant services sales in a hunting sales role, and ISV recruitment experience.

  • This opportunity provides a competitive base salary and sales commission plan

  • Travel Requirements- 10%
