The Information Security Ops (ISO) Intermediate Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for leading efforts to prevent, monitor and respond to information/data breaches and cyber-attacks. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the execution of Information Security directives and activities in alignment with Citi's data security policy.
Responsibilities:

  • Verify with technology teams that technology Information Security (IS) is compliant with standards and meets IS technology strategy goals
  • Monitor changes in the risk profile of highly critical systems
  • Assist security incident response teams resolve and close the investigation of incidents
  • Complete the Risk Assessment process, including maintaining accurate asset inventory, system criticality information, data classification, threat analysis and action plans
  • Guide the completion of Risk Assessments and other IS related compliance processes, and ensure processes are understood, appropriate controls take place, and remediation of non-compliance is documented and addressed
  • Promote and educate security awareness within the business
  • Ensure compliance of information security standards and best practices across multiple disciplines and help security incident response teams resolve and close the investigation of incidents
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience
  • Proficient in interpreting and applying policies, standards and procedures
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Proven analytical skills


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

  • Deseable conocimiento y cumplimiento de regulaciones mexicanas (en materia de SI) (CNBV y BANXICO)
  • Conocimientos técnicos relacionados con Seguridad de la Información y Ciberseguridad (carrera en informática o computación)
  • Deseables certificaciones CISA, CISM, CISSP, ISO27001:2023
  • Amplio conocimiento y cumplimiento de regulaciones mexicanas (en materia de SI) (CNBV y BANXICO)
  • Experiencia en la elaboración de reportes y métricas ejecutivas dirigidas a la alta dirección
  • Habilidades de comunicación y negociación
  • Habilidades para identificar y resolver problemas
  • Idioma inglés al 60%
