QTC is hiring immediately for this role! This is a full-time, non-exempt, salaried position. It offers the opportunity to work a hybrid schedule (working 3 days (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) per week from home and 2 days (Tuesday and Thursday) per week in the office). This is a position for an entry level college graduate, a college graduate with less than 5 years of work experience, or a more seasoned professional looking to make a change. Covered parking may be available.
Qualified Trust Company (QTC) (https://qualifiedtrust.com) is a financial services firm headquartered at 8360 East Raintree Drive, Scottsdale, Arizona (near the 101 and Raintree). We provide rollover account administration services for all types of qualified retirement plans including: 401(k), Profit Sharing, and Defined Benefit (including Cash Balance Plans and corporate trustee services for qualified retirement plans).

This position offers a variety of career paths including advancement within Qualified Trust Company or transferring to a position in our 401(k) administration group.
Job Summary: The person in this position completes all requests for distributions and all participant and plan sponsor inquiries associated with this task, manages incoming rollover checks and handles issues with account funding and installation, tracks and reports on progress of all requests, and gives information to participants, plan sponsors, and other partners as necessary. Training will be provided, but the successful candidate should be comfortable learning independently.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare distribution packages to account holders
- Establish new accounts and confirm correct and timely funding
- Update account holders, TPA partners, management, and plan sponsors as necessary on requests and progress
- Establish solid working relationships with all vendors and plan sponsors to ensure open and accurate communication
- Reconcile accounts and investigate unexpected deposits
- Answer phone calls and emails from IRA holders
- Perform other related duties as required
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Qualifications:
- No experience required
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Bilingual speaking a plus
- Knowledge of modern office procedures and methods including telephone communications, office systems, and record keeping
- Working knowledge or ability to quickly grasp concepts of rollover IRAs and trust company functions
- Knowledge of modern business communication, including style and format of letters, emails, memorandums, minutes, and reports
- Ability to use a personal computer and proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook
- Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision
- Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems
- Superior organizational and prioritization skills
- Flexibility, adaptability, and ability to multi-task
Compensation and Benefits:
- $50,000 - $60,000 with relevant experience
- Salaried/non-exempt position; eligible for overtime

Work Location/Hours:
- Hybrid of work from home and in the Scottsdale, AZ office
- Must work from USA and be authorized to work for any US employer
- Approximately one time per year, travel to company training or industry events
- No international travel
- We will supply all necessary computer equipment
- Work hours: 40 hours per week
- You may choose a start time between 7:30 am and 9:00 am Arizona time
