Job Description
Join our General Industries Group Coverage team in Tokyo, where you will use your related experience to contribute to the firm's M&A execution and capital raising capabilities while helping build J.P. Morgan's franchise and reputation in the marketplace.
As a Vice President within the General Industries Group Coverage team, you'll be a key player in the execution of the firm's business. You will work with expert professionals at the heart of a leading global investment bank.
Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the full transaction cycle, including preparing marketing pitches, reviewing and formulating financial analysis, preparing and presenting internal committee memoranda and client presentations
  • Play a leadership role in implementing the execution function including working with analysts and associates, as well as assisting more senior bankers
  • Develop strong functional skills in the major areas of investment banking and demonstrate the ability to become a senior officer who is capable of generating and executing his/her own transactions
  • Demonstrate high enthusiasm towards J.P. Morgan's mission, be driven and committed to its success
  • Work with a broader team of over 100 Analysts and Associates in the region, you will be provided opportunities to be involved real-time in transactions that may include frequent travel


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Prior work experience in an investment banking front office or related role
  • Strong in accounting, finance, quantitative and business writing
  • A well-rounded academic background from a top tier educational institution
  • Understanding of the transaction cycle with a focus on execution
  • Impeccable communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with senior professionals, clients and key stakeholders in other line of business
  • Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently
