- Collaboratively decide the most effective and efficient method of investigation for each individual case
- Conduct various types of investigations tailored fit for the client
- Review the validity and authenticity of documents provided by the client
- Conduct verification efforts relating to employment history, business registrations, and educational and licensing credentials, etc.
- Gather, analyze or evaluate information from a variety of sources, such as law enforcement databases, as well as press and media articles to cover civil court proceedings, criminal arrests/convictions/court actions, bankruptcies and any tax or other legal issues with government agencies
- Perform searches on all available databases to determine if the subject of investigation is not liable to any sanctions imposed by any financial institutions, regulatory bodies and government agencies
- Search international, regional and local newspapers, magazines, trade and financial journals, as well as websites for any potentially-relevant and/or adverse information relating to the subject of investigation
- Prepare and submit findings to management
- Other duties as requested or assigned
