We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Control Specialist to join our team and play a key role in keeping our stock data accurate, our processes compliant, and our operations running smoothly.
What You Will Do
As our Inventory Control Specialist, you will be the go-to person for everything related to physical inventory accuracy and process integrity at ESST.
- Coordinate accurate and timely physical counts of inventory items across the site
- Ensure actual stock levels align with recorded data in the inventory management system
- Analyze stock data, identify root causes of discrepancies, and lead corrective actions
- Create and follow up on routings, and make stock adjustments in SAP
- Ensure full compliance with SOX requirements, internal controls, and global and local regulatory standards
- Lead internal audits for inventory control at ESST and participate in broader audit activities as needed
- Drive and monitor stocktaking KPIs and performance indicators
- Train and onboard stocktaking operators, building team capability over time
- Provide first-line operational support for stocktaking-related issues
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Material Handling, Finance, or a related field - or at least 2 years of relevant hands-on experience
- Solid understanding of inventory control regulations, including SOX, internal policies, and procedures
- Familiarity with material handling processes within a supply or production environment
- Strong analytical mindset with a focus on root cause analysis
- Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to lead incremental change initiatives
- Effective communicator and collaborator across teams and functions
- Proficiency in SAP and other inventory management systems
- Experience with ERP systems and Power BI dashboard creation is a strong advantage
- Good command of English, both written and spoken
