Job Summary:
Description:
- During our comprehensive, 8-week internship program, interns are exposed to different functional areas of business at Lockton and have the opportunity to interact with many associates. Working alongside these associates allows interns to experience our caring and diverse culture, develop business acumen, and grow their technical and soft skills. Each intern is paired with a performance coach who helps to guide them through the course of the internship.
- The program is very "hands-on" with the intern being included in such activities as marketing, policy review, client renewal presentations, and onsite client meetings.
- In a small group (3-5 interns), solve a real-world challenge facing the insurance industry and Lockton. Present findings and strategies to Lockton Leadership at the end of the program.
- Rotate through several weeklong case studies focused on our specialized units within the company. Work alongside leaders to identify solutions to client issues.
- The internship will also include a group project that culminates in a formal presentation to senior management.

Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Successful candidates have demonstrated success in both academics and extracurricular activities
- Minimum GPA requirement of 3.3
- Involvement in a combination of sports, student government, college clubs, community service, and work is preferred
- Leadership positions in these activities is an added bonus
- Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and analytical skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a fast-paced team environment
- Experience working in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Preferred majors are business, insurance, marketing, finance, or communication - However, all majors are encouraged to apply
