Role Summary
This position entails on working with both the Human Resources Department and Trade Compliance Department.
HR: Assists in maintaining a positive employee relations environment. Duties include supporting various HR functions and projects.
Trade Compliance: Support a new Trade tool that will be used across all Magna Seating divisions. This role will also support daily trade operations for over 18+ seating divisions. This position requires organization, clear communication, and attention to details.
Key Responsibilities
HR: • Observe all rules of confidentially as they relate to personnel and/or client information• Support various HR projects within the different HR functions (i.e. Recruitment, Compensation, Training, Benefits, etc.)• Assists with the creation or communications for posting & distribution as well as maintaining all communication centers
Trade Compliance:• Assist the trade department with accomplishing tasks related to the launch of new a new trade tool • Test web-based applications for efficiency and note any bugs• Document application development processes• Participate in writing desktop level procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Completion of at least 1-year of college, currently working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration.

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
Strong communication skills: verbal, written, and presentations.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to successfully complete multiple tasks within established and changing deadlines.
Knowledge with Microsoft Office programs including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook preferred
Experience or exposure to International Trade is a bonus.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Normal amount of sitting, standing, and walking. Average mobility to move around an office environment, able to conduct normal amount of work at a computer, may require travel.
