Job Responsibilities:
As a Tax intern in Micron's Tax Department, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Preparing tax returns, tax provisions, and supporting documentation.
• Assisting with the compilation of various financial information reports (using SAP) to support tax compliance and accounting.
• Assisting with tax research and related memorandums.
• Assisting with special tax projects, including the R&D Tax Credit study.
• Implementing tax technologies and process improvements.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:
Successful candidates for this position will have:

• Strong software skills; specifically, with Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word and other MS Office applications.
• Excellent communications skills; both verbal and written.
• A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
• An interest in Tax
• Flexibility with the work schedule, particularly in the school year.
• It is preferred that the candidate be available for 12 months and be:
  • Early Junior status within the undergraduate accounting program; or
  • Early Senior status also committed to the MSAT graduate program

Education Requirements/ Preferences:

• Must be pursuing a BA/BS or MS in Accounting or Tax.
• Must be a full-time student.
