Do you enjoy analyzing data to tell a story? Interested in gaining negotiation experience? Have strong communication and presentation skills? If yes, you would be a phenomenal candidate for our Intern-Category Supplier Manager internship.
As a Category Supplier Manager Intern, you will collaborate with experienced members of Micron's Indirect Procurement team in setting strategies and interacting directly with suppliers.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Analyze data to support decision making and to lay the foundation for developing strategies
  • Evaluate deal terms to help craft arguments in support of the terms most advantageous to Micron


  • Perform risk and cost benefit analysis to support your team's decision making during ongoing negotiations.


Qualifications

  • Graduating after August 2023
  • Availability to serve as an intern for a minimum of at least 12 weeks during the months of May-August 2023
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree program with a focus in Business, Economics, Psychology, Law, Mathematics, Statistics, Supply Chain, or a related field


  • A want to gain or improve negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to manage priorities in a multifaceted work environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.


  • Proficiency in SharePoint, MS Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
