In this role, you will collaborate with experienced members of the Global Workplace, Real Estate and Facilities (GWREF) team in setting global strategies as it relates to Micron's real estate portfolio and projects. You will analyze potential projects, guide market searches for potential properties, help craft business cases, as well as perform risk and cost benefit analysis as our team makes decisions during ongoing projects. A significant portion of this role will involve the development of executive-level presentations to help guide leadership discussions to gain executive alignment and push for decision-making. Ad-hoc work related to Workplace Strategy (workplace design, occupancy planning, etc.) and Project Management should also be expected.

  • Assist in driving Micron's global real estate strategy (acquisitions, dispositions, leasing) by liaising with business leaders, internal stakeholders and key real estate vendors
  • Coordinate with various departments such as Finance, Risk, Legal, Environment, etc. regarding real estate matters
  • Conduct real-estate specific financial analyses (ROI, NPV, Break-even, etc.) to assist in relevant decision-making
  • Prepare relevant, concise, and executive-level presentations and business cases, and be prepared to lead certain internal meetings
  • Manage the contract lifecycle for real estate-related agreements in Micron's internal system to gain necessary approvals, legal review, and signature of documents
  • Deliver complete, accurate and coordinated documentation on projects with aggressive schedules
  • Assist the Global Space and Portfolio planner as well as Project PMO with ad-hoc projects related to occupancy planning, workplace design and construction of current projects.


Qualifications/Competencies

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills and ability to quickly distill key information into a visual format
  • Ability to successfully handle multiple projects and topics at once with changing priority levels
  • Productively interact with a wide variety of persons at different levels inside and outside the organization
  • Familiarity with key business analyses: financial, SWOT, stakeholder, risk, etc.
  • Interest in continuous process improvement with a growth mindset and applying it to their work
  • Understanding of key commercial real estate terms is beneficial, but not required
