Spring 2022: Technical Program Management Intern
The Motional Pittsburgh office is located in the new Hazelwood Green development at 4734 Second Avenue, a culmination of the city’s goal of restoring an economic driver to the neighborhood in a thoughtful, inclusive, and sustainable way. With views along the Monongahela river, the Pittsburgh office is in the heart of this new state of the art development.
Technical Program Management Intern
In this position you will help coordinate development and integration of supplier components into Motional’s GEN 2 platform leading to a successful commercial robotaxi launch within the next 2 years. You will help ensure components are robust, automotive grade and meet Motional requirements and needs.
What You'll Be Doing
- Support with creating and updating Project plans for 2 major systems integration projects. Resulting in an achievable Plan with documented risks
- Seek Approval by all key stakeholders
- Support multiple component Project planning activities
- Support TPM Operations improvements initiatives
- Help develop an improved process to communicate component status and availability to vehicle integration/vehicle build team
- Develop new processes to improve communications with internal customers

- Junior, Senior, Master's or MBA student.
- Passionate about a driverless future
- Self-motivated to achieve meaningful results
- Enjoy working in a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams
- Leadership qualities to help set the project priorities
- Good communicator and comfortable taking the lead
- Good Technical understanding of automotive process
