You will be introduced to modern engineering practices and strategies in addition to career counseling and professional development opportunities.
Our forward-looking technology department will provide you with valuable learning opportunities as you share ideas, creativity and curiosity to maximize your experience. The experience will include:
- Participation in ‘modern engineering’ concepts, including AI Incorporation, Human Centered Design and Product Innovation.
- Contributing to technology transformation strategies.
- Use of Agile Development Methodology.
- An understanding of departments that work in tandem with technology
- Uncovering drivers for positive corporate culture and enhanced communication throughout the organization.
- Professional development through peer counseling, mentorship and corporate leadership interactions.
Program Overview:
- 10 week paid assignment.
- In person orientation on Day 1, including a tour of the site, overview of the company and welcome message from senior leaders.
- Professional development from dedicated program manager and peer mentors.
- Small, selective program that allows for more focused attention and support.
- Interaction with leaders across multiple business units and departments.
- Resume review and LinkedIn clinic.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors in progress in Computer Science or related field
- Some technology-centric coursework completed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Sound analytical and critical thinking skills with a strategic mindset
- Basic understanding of software development methodology
- Microsoft Office skills, including MS Word and Excel
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Curious, self-motivated spirit
- Self-motivated individual who is focused and results oriented
