Internship Technical Product Owner

We, as Media Technology & IT department, are responsible for all media technology within the Red Bull Media House. We operate various applications and tools; from our self-developed media platform to one of the most technically advanced TV studios in Europe.

PRODUCT/SOLUTION DESIGN

In this role, you'll assist in user research to understand their needs and translating these business requirements into solution designs. You can also expect to conduct feasibility studies of new technologies and impact analysis to inform the decision-making processes. This will leverage your analytical and problem-solving skills to bring about effective technology solutions.

DRIVING THE PRODUCT

In this exciting internship, you’ll assist in designing and maintaining media related software solutions in collaboration with our business users and engineering teams. You'll have the opportunity to assist in driving and optimizing our existing product portfolio in areas like enhancing functionality, cost efficiency and stability. As part of our team, you'll work closely with our experienced solutions engineers and have the chance to gain hands-on experience.

Critical thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Advanced undergraduate student, post-graduate student, or recent graduates (Bachelor’s / Master's degree) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Fluent in English, German is a plus

Ability to communicate effectively within a diverse team and be able to bridge the gap between business users and software developers

Strong interest in managing/designing software solutions and a desire to learn and grow in this field

Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment with a proactive attitude and eagerness to learn

Familiarity with programming languages and scripting (e.g., Python, TypeScript) is a big plus
