About this opportunity
As a Network Engineer Intern at Ericsson, you will support the analysis, design, and optimization of telecom networks, focusing on network design and optimization, performance, and data analytics. You will work alongside experienced Network Engineers across domains such as RAN, Transport, Core, OM, and Services Networks, gaining exposure to how end-to-end telecom networks are planned, monitored, and improved.
This is a full-time internship (around 40 hours per week) for 10 weeks, based at our BGC Taguig office in a hybrid work setup.
What you will do
As a Network Engineer Intern, you will:
- Assist in analyzing network performance data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for optimization.
- Support the preparation of network design and optimization activities under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Help collect and organize customer and network requirements from internal stakeholders and tools.
- Contribute to documenting technical findings, reports, and presentations that describe network performance and proposed solutions.
- Use data analytics tools and frameworks to support decision-making related to network performance and service quality.
- Assist in validating and testing proposed network changes or optimizations in lab or controlled environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share insights and support ongoing projects.

Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in: Electronics and Communications Engineering
- Strong academic foundation in: Telecommunications or networking fundamentals (e.g., IP networks, mobile networks, protocols)
- Basic data analysis or statistics
- Able to commit to a full-time internship (around 40 hours per week) for 10 weeks
- Willing to work in a hybrid setup based in BGC Taguig.
