Our Global Internship Programme in Innovation & Sustainability (#IP2TIS) offers a unique opportunity for passionate individuals to gain hands-on experience in the pharmaceutical industry while making a positive impact on the world.

The Opportunity
Have you ever bought second-hand? Do you know how much we can make a difference by using things a little bit longer? How can we ensure everyone's access if we do not maximize the resources that we have at our disposal?
We are now facing a reality where life-saving diagnostics are not accessible to some and where perfectly functioning diagnostics instruments are being scrapped. Why not connect these places and build bridges?
We are looking for a talented and motivated individual to build an online marketplace for refurbished instruments within Roche Diagnostics for the LMICs. The challenge is thus to assess the viability of such a project internally by conducting interviews with the biggest affiliates to map their processes and the LMICs (Low to middle-income countries) affiliates to understand the needs on the ground. You will have to engage with almost all departments of the organization to get us to understand the full viability of the project, and why not implement it yourself (with support of course!).
Your role will then consist into :

Compiling the needs of the affiliates in LMICs in terms of instruments

Mapping the processes of refurbished instruments in the selected affiliates

Engage with Technical Services experts to understand which platforms to start with

Engage with Quality to understand the Regulatory framework for second-hand instruments in the LMICs

Engage with Supply-Chain to build a sustainable process for import/export between the Roche structures

Finally, we will validate the setup with Group tax giving you quite a Tour of the different functions within the Roche Diagnostics world and building lasting impact for the organisation and patients!
Who You Are
You are enrolled or have completed your Master's studies at a university, preferably in the field of Finance / Supply Chain / Engineering within the last 12 months and are interested in applying your knowledge in a modern working environment as part of an internship of at least 3 months and getting to know the Diagnostics industry.
