Internship: Marketing & Communication: Translating technical updates into clear business communication
Assignment type: Internship
Start date: September 2026
Assignment duration: 6 months
Location: Veghel
Education level: Associate Degree / Bachelor
Desired study: Marketing, Communication or a related field
Language: Dutch / English
Description of assignment
What is the issue?
Within the Technology department, technical releases (such as system updates, improvements, or new functionalities) are delivered on a regular basis. While these releases are technically correct, the way they are communicated is often complex, inconsistent, and difficult to understand for non-technical users.
Why does this issue occur?
Technical release information is mainly created by engineers and project teams, each using their own structure, terminology, and level of detail. There is no standard format or clear guideline for how technical information should be translated into user-friendly communication. In addition, there is limited use of tools or templates that support efficient and repeatable communication.
What is the impact of the issue?
As a result, internal and external stakeholders may misunderstand the content or impact of technical releases. This leads to additional questions, extra coordination effort, slower adoption of new solutions, and reduced transparency. Valuable technical knowledge is not fully utilized because it is not communicated clearly.
