Job Description:

With this internship, you can expect to experience a breadth of opportunity from understanding marketing portfolio and customer strategies, commercial and analytical delivery, whilst managing a network of stakeholders across full Europe. You will work with our talented international colleagues on our well known Petcare brands. Show us your creativity, analytical skillset and support our team in the full breadth of tasks. You will have opportunity to create your own network in the organisation and to cooperate with our Marketing and Sales teams, plus building trust to our retail partners. At MARS, you are more than just an intern, you will be a fully integrated member of our team and can work on your own projects, of course continuously coached and mentored by our talented team.

What are we looking for?
  • You are a student aiming for your first/second degree or equivalent in a business related field of studies.
  • Ideally, first practical working experience or internships, ideally in the areas Marketing, Sales, Consulting or CPG (FMCG) industry.
  • Good analytical, presentation and communication skills 
  • The ambition to take your own priorities and make a difference every day.
  • Experience in working with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good level and confidence to communicate on a daily base in English language.
What will be your key responsibilities?
  • You will support the European Digital Channel Portfolio Team in operational tasks, by deploying our portfolio strategy in the digital sales channels.
  • You will take the responsibility for your own (sub-) projects and have the opportunity to present the excellent results of your work.
  • You will monitor, analyse, and evaluate internal data and domestic and international market trends, client behavior and competitor activity to identify market opportunities for our products. With this you will build great skills on how to simplify the complex world around us!
  • You will learn how to provide shopper & customer insights and prepare product launches & relaunches.
  • Together we will create meaningful external sell-in decks for our demand teams.
  • You will support our Portfolio Leaders to develop, deploy and govern our strategies on a 5 year timeline.
