As a Staff on the Special Projects team you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Prepare and file requisite formation documents with the Internal Revenue Service
- Review and validate tax forms for withholding purposes
- Develop and maintain tracking systems for both client-based and firm-based projects
- Document, organize, analyze and maintain large data sets on Excel
- Prepare and draft deliverable files to client
- International tax special projects including: Form 1099 reporting, BEA reporting, Investor outreach and form collection, FATCA reporting. Specific technical knowledge in these areas is not required as we expect to train the right person to understand these areas and execute.
To be successful in this position, these are the skills and experience you will need:
- Strong Excel skills (vlookup, pivot tables, sum if, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work with a lot of data points
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- A strong team player with a can-do attitude
- Working knowledge of financial statements and basic accounting is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is preferred
- A minimum of 0-2 years of relevant work experience
- The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines with a sense of urgency

This salary range is specific to the state(s) listed and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill set and education; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the range for this position is $65,000 to $85,000.
