Job Description

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and review income tax provision calculations in accordance with ASC 740
  • Review international aspects of U.S. federal tax reporting (e.g., Forms 5471, 8858, 8865, 1118, 1042 )
  • Manage the process of preparing various international tax analyses, such earnings and profits calculations, Subpart F, Sourcing and FTC Analyses, and TCJA-related analyses.
  • Manage the preparation and review of quarterly foreign reporting tax packages
  • Supporting the coordination, preparation and submission of non-US tax returns.
  • Support and assist in managing non-US tax inquiries and tax audits.
  • Support transfer pricing documentation, planning, and intercompany policy development
  • Partner with Finance, Legal, and external advisors to ensure compliance with international tax laws
  • Monitor global tax developments and assess their impact on the company’s operations
  • Assist in the assessment and implementation of tax strategies in response to global tax reform initiatives and regulatory changes
  • Provide analysis and build tax models related to tax compliance, planning and provision matters, including retrieving necessary data
  • Assist the Senior Manager of Global Direct Tax in creating, testing, and documenting internal controls and tax policies

Professional Requirements:

  • 6+ years of public accounting experience at a national or global firm
  • Current CPA license
  • Needs to have at least 6 years of experience with ASC 740 (US GAAP tax accounting) and international tax
  • Needs to have technical expertise in international tax law
  • Understand tax legislations and their impact on compliance
  • Strong quantitative skills and advanced experience with tax accounting analyses
  • Proficient in research and writing tax memoranda
  • Extensive experience with multinational companies
  • Experienced in people management with demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior professional staff
  • Proficiency in income tax and provision software is (OneSource) preferred
  • Familiar with OECD guidelines and global tax reform initiatives

Experience/Education

  • B.S. degree in Accounting required
  • Masters in Tax, JD, or LLM a plus
  • Microsoft Office Suite of products, SAP, Power BI, OneSource Tax Provision, OneSource Income Tax
