To further this initiative, TransUnion is recruiting for a dynamic change agent to develop, implement, manage and oversee the International component of the Global Operations PMO. This newly created role will oversee management and execution of the Global Operations PMO in our global regions, including governance, team leadership, prioritization and communication.
The role requires extensive collaboration with senior leads across many functions including Operations, Global Technology, U.S. Markets and Legal and Compliance to strategically architect the U.S. component of the PMO. As such, the ideal candidate brings a mix of operations and program management, strategy, or management consulting experience (or equivalent), and the ability to collaborate with teammates across countries, industry vertical lines of business, and other cross-functional groups.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, Engineering or other related discipline.
- Demonstrable experience of strategic thinking and implementation of strategy. Ability to develop strategic solutions based on the Global strategy, strong stakeholder management and understanding of external trends
- 15+ years of related business experience with at least 5 years that focus on managing large, complex programs in a matrix environment with overall budget greater than $10m
- Proven ability to define and articulate a comprehensive and actionable program of work, resolving potentially complex inter-dependencies across multiple teams and systems
- Background in a technology discipline, the different project types, their specific challenges and how to tackle them in the most appropriate way
- Methodical, thorough, diligent with excellent organizational skills
- Excellent organizational, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills with the capability to influence and guide key internal and external stakeholders
Impact You'll Make:
- Partner with the Global PMO Lead and the PMO Leadership team on the design and creation of the Global Operations PMO
- Establish and manage the International Global Operations ‘change Portfolio’ for all initiatives that will drive the realization of our strategy
- Drive improved consistency, effectiveness and efficiency in how we operate, working with change management capability across Global Operations and beyond
- Develop and deploy standards, methods and tools for the management of projects to ensure deliverables are robust in design, plan and execution.
- Build a delivery team to focus on US verticals
- Develop a shared delivery capability based out our Global Capability Centers
- Responsible for the delivery of the Global Operations Change Portfolio, both across regional geographies and Global Programs
- Develop a flexible model to leverage both Federated Global Project Management resources and 3rd Party capability
- Develop effective working relationships with Global Operations and regional leadership to understand their strategic priorities and align roadmaps across both
- Facilitate the development and rollout of best practices for our large, global initiatives via operational playbooks, standardized templates and planning tools/systems. Create and nurture effective communication within the organization, building trust at all levels and working collaboratively throughout the matrix management structure
- Manage, monitor and motivate the cross functional teams assigned to the various projects
- Coordinate and manage capacity and demand across all group programs
- Facilitate a flexible delivery model to deal with peaks in demand
- Ensure internal and external compliance standards are understood and demonstrated to an auditable level, ensuring requirements are embedded into project processes
- Evaluate risks and develop processes and ensure delivery risks are managed throughout a program of work
- Ensure the project knowledgebase is captured, current and stored appropriately
- Ensure post-rollout reviews are conducted and feedback loop followed
- Provide guidance and direction to program and project managers, supporting and covering when required

Please note it is a requirement of the Global Capability Centre Africa that you reside in a home that is fibre ready; and has space for you to be able to work comfortably and confidentially on a day-to-day basis for the purpose of your proposed employment. You can be based anywhere in South Africa that has fibre, but will not be able to work in a location outside of South Africa.
A Minimum of a 100 Meg Fibre line is required, should you be successful, you will need to upgrade your line or install fibre in order to work effectively.

This is a remote position which may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at the discretion of management.
