Join our Embedded Software team developing inverter software for automotive applications. The internship will focus on evaluating and implementing modern Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to improve software development efficiency and quality across the embedded software lifecycle. The project will investigate how AI can support activities such as code review, architecture documentation generation, requirements traceability, and integration with existing engineering tools. The outcome should be a practical proof-of-concept demonstrating measurable benefits and recommendations for introducing AI-assisted workflows into a professional automotive software development environment. For that you will work on the following items:
- Become familiar with automotive embedded software development, including AUTOSAR, C-based BSW, Simulink-based ASW, CI/CD
- Analyze current development workflows and identify opportunities where AI can improve engineering efficiency and software quality.
- Develop and evaluate AI-based solutions for automated code reviews, coding guideline compliance checks, documentation generation, and toolchain integration.
- Investigate automatic generation of software architecture and design documentation from engineering artifacts
- Create a proof-of-concept, validate it on real project data, and present recommendations for practical adoption within the development team.
