Internal Sales Coordinator

Woodchester

£26,000 - £30,000 depending on experience

We are currently seeking an Internal Sales Coordinator with strong coordination and communication skills to support internal sales withing the Manufacturing Service Division.

Reporting to the Service & Internal Sales Manager, the Internal Sales Coordinator will provide comprehensive administrative support to support the sales team by managing customer inquiries, processing orders, and ensuring smooth communication between internal departments.

This role based at our Woodchester site, Gloucestershire. Occasional travel to other sites may be required, depending on business needs. This role offers hybrid working.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage and respond to global customer enquiries via email, teams and phone.

  • Process sales orders accurately and efficiently in line with internal procedures.

  • Coordinate with internal departments (Sales, Logistics, Operations, Finance) to ensure smooth order flow and timely delivery.

  • Maintain clear and proactive communication with customers regarding order updates, lead times, and any service issues.

  • Process credit notes in accordance with company policies and approval procedures.

  • Handle Return Merchandise Authorisations (RMA) including logging requests, arranging collections/replacements, and tracking progress.

  • Provide administrative support to the sales team, including reporting and documentation.

  • Assist in resolving customer issues quickly and professionally to maintain high service standards.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of order processing, customer experience, and internal coordination.

  • Work effectively in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment with strong attention to detail and organisation.

Person Specification

  • The ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally will be required for this role

  • Proficient use of an ERP system

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.

  • Organised, self-motivated, good written and verbal communication skills.

  • The ability to remain confident in high pressure customer related environments operating to deadlines

  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, and contributes to a collaborative office culture

  • Ability to work independently

  • Motivated to understand and learn a wide variety of business processes

  • Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail

Desirable requirements

  • An understanding of Renishaw products would be an advantage

  • Experience of working in a fast paced sales environment

  • Previous exposure to trade compliance, export documentation, and Incoterms
