Requires scientific expertise, Raman spectroscopy knowledge, strong communication and presentation skills, computer literacy, a UK driving licence, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Design and develop mechanical components and systems for machine tool probes, interfaces, sensors, and metrology products. Responsibilities include creating 3D models, assemblies, BOMs, drawings, engineering analyses, and documentation; collaborating on manufacturability, NPI, tooling, testing, and verification; and supporting value engineering, reliability, and cost reduction. The role requires mechanical engineering fundamentals, CAD experience, FEA understanding, and cross-functional collaboration.

Leads a team of engineers and technicians supporting and improving assembly processes for industrial metrology products. Owns process capability, efficiency, quality, cost reduction, waste elimination, and process control improvements. Investigates complex process issues, coordinates cross-functional technical activities, manages improvement projects, and serves as the communication link between product divisions and manufacturing support services. Also provides technical leadership, performance management, and staff development.

Design, develop, integrate, test, and maintain embedded firmware for laser and calibration products. Support and develop Renishaw’s manufacturing ERP platform, Syteline, and associated business applications. Responsibilities include Level 2 support, requirements and systems analysis, configuration, software development, testing, deployment, implementation, and ongoing support. The role works with business stakeholders across UK and overseas operations to deliver cost-effective IT solutions.

Owns configuration, maintenance, support, and enhancement projects across Workday modules, including Advanced Compensation, HCM, and Security. Translates HR and business requirements into system solutions, leads testing and implementation, researches new functionality, supports the HRIS roadmap, and provides training and expert guidance. Requires strong stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving, and at least three years of technical Workday configuration and reporting experience.

Develop mechanical designs across the full product lifecycle, from requirements and concepts through detailed design, verification, validation, and production handover. Create 3D CAD models, assemblies, BOMs, and engineering drawings; apply FEA and engineering analysis; develop prototypes and testing plans; review drawings; support NPI and production tooling; and collaborate with manufacturing, assembly, marketing, and other stakeholders.
