The Internal Key Account Manager (IMO Distribution) is responsible for driving sales to AuguStar Retirement by providing excellent service to our IMO strategic partners and sales team. This individual is responsible for partnering with Key Account Managers (KAM's) to prospect new relationships and manage existing relationships with designated firms.
Your role and impact

- Interacting with KAMs on IMO specific business plans, internal/external sales communication, and disseminating updated information to appropriate stakeholders.
- Preparing presentations and briefings for accounts and senior management.
- Coordinating sales trainings, firm onboardings and presentations with designated firms and advisors.
- Working with sales management to develop and implement strategic initiatives and programs with designated firms.
- Collaborating with internal service and operations partners to meet the needs of designated firms.
- Planning and coordinating AuguStar Retirement's presence at firm conferences and attend where appropriate.
- Uncovering opportunities to increase effectiveness of the designated firms' relationships.

What sets you up for success
- Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years annuity industry experience required. Experience in IMO channel preferred.
- Industry designations such as CFP, RICP preferred.
- Must have the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Must have strong relationship building and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to prioritize while managing multiple tasks.
- Excellent project management, verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to occasionally travel to conferences and firm visits.
