Team mission

Our Group Reporting team is dedicated to delivering high-quality financial information to internal and external stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making. We are seeking an Internal Control Manager to  lead our Internal Control over Financial Reporting initiatives. This role is critical in establishing robust internal controls and ensuring our financial reporting processes are transparent and compliant with international standards.

You will:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive internal control framework in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the creation and execution of risk assessment methodologies to identify critical areas in financial reporting.
  • Design and oversee the implementation of control activities across the company to mitigate identified risks.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a new team, including an Internal Control Analyst and an Senior ITGC Manager to support the execution of ICFR objectives.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and consultants to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and to facilitate annual audits.
  • Provide regular training and updates to the management and relevant teams about compliance, changes in regulations, and best practices in internal controls.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of the internal control systems, and provide strategic recommendations to the senior management team.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of the internal controls system by staying updated with industry trends and regulatory changes.
Who you are:
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or similar accreditation preferred.
  • Proven experience in leading internal controls and compliance within a multinational corporation, preferably with experience in preparing a company for US listing and SOX compliance.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, ITGC, and risk management.
  • Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of the organization and external stakeholders.
