Internal Communications Manager, Enterprise Enablement
We are looking to hire an Internal Communications Manager to support our Enterprise Enablement function. This role will report to the Director, Internal Communications for Enterprise Enablement Team and is responsible for helping to manage, develop, and execute internal communications strategies across Information Technology, Cyber and Physical Security, Workplace Solutions and HR. The role is experienced in working with senior leadership, is a creative problem-solver who can convert complex concepts on a variety of topics into easily understood text, deliver on tight-deadlines, has strong executive presence and can work in a fast-paced environment. They must be energetic, driven, collaborative, and an excellent communicator.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and support end-to-end internal communications strategies and programs for Enterprise Enablement functions that deliver on business objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders – working closely and comfortably with senior leaders.
- Create content that informs, engages, and empowers while reinforcing Asurion’s brand, tone, and voice across channels.
- Plan and execute internal events, such as town halls and employee engagement activities.
- Create compelling content that integrates creative design, video, and digital content when appropriate to bring our internal communications to life.
- Work across the Corporate Communications and Events team and other key stakeholders to ensure messages are aligned and coordinated across the company.
- Influence decisions around message content, positioning, and delivery.
- Understand and leverage a variety of communication platforms including AI related systems.
- Track and measure communications effectiveness.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledgeable in developing strategies for employee communications that both inform and engage
- Ability to research, write, edit, and distribute written communications including emails, intranet content, presentations and executive talking points
- Ability to own projects end-to-end, take initiative, and leverage problem solving skills to think beyond the task to the outcome that needs achieved
- Comfortable working with and advising senior leaders of best practices
- Skilled in collaborating with various partners and stakeholders across the business to ensure informed, timely and consistent messaging
- Ability to thrive in an independent, fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and collaboratively as needed
- Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
- High attention to detail
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Communications, Journalism, Visual Communications, Graphic Design, Marketing, English, Public Relations, or related field preferred)
- Five years of experience preferred
- Extensive writing experience a must
- Strong PowerPoint and design skills essential
