Job Description:
Our team members are at the heart of our mission, and our Internal Communications team plays a central role in ensuring they are informed and excited about the impact they can have on the world. How? By fostering a great partnership with senior leadership to keep our teams connected and aligned, tapping into our ever-evolving toolkit of communications channels, and constantly coming up with new ways to engage our distributed workforce. If you have a creative mind, a passion for collaboration, the ability to thrive in ambiguity, and a keen sense of how to communicate with purpose, join us.
Who you're committed to being:

  • A self-starter. You love to break down communications needs, get the context, understand the expected outcome, and then work within a small yet supportive team to get it done (added bonus: you thrive with ambiguity).
  • An effective influencer. Working with project leaders and peers alike, people trust your judgment and rely on you for your advice.
  • Diligent and meticulous. You are comfortable setting expectations, managing timelines and working with your teammates to manage project deliverables from start to finish.
  • An amazing communicator. Through your audience-centric approach to writing and editing, you transform information into meaningful, cohesive and concise communications.
  • A standout colleague. You thrive as part of a forward-thinking team that has each other's backs to get things done (and have fun doing it!).

What you'll do:

  • Program and event communications. With guidance from your teammates, you will assist in the design and implementation of communications plans (including proof-reading and writing of deliverables) for our global programs and updates.
  • Intranet content contributor. Working across the business as a "beat reporter" you will seek out and propose compelling stories and updates to share on this key information channel.
  • Organizational-level communications. With guidance from your teammates, you will help create communications plans and events, to ensure our teams are aligned and inspired.
  • Company Town Halls. Complete assigned tasks required to schedule, organize and deliver important updates during this important monthly global event.
  • Data "scientist." Identify trends in data that enable us to be more effective as a communications function (e.g. employee survey results, intranet analytics).

Experience you'll bring:

  • Requires a minimum of one year of related or equivalent experience; a Bachelor's degree, or an advanced degree without experience.
  • Demonstrated success in assisting in the implementation of creative internal (employee) and/or external (customer, partner) communications strategies that achieved measurable results.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
  • Experience with an intranet platform, Google docs, and Slack a plus.

Travel Requirements:
While Pluralsight operates under a remote and hybrid work model, we believe that in-person connection and collaboration are important. Recurring travel to our HQ in Utah may be required depending on the role and team member location.
Why you'll love working here:

  • We're remote- and hybrid-friendly
  • We're mission driven and guided by our culture pillars
  • We have a strong commitment to diversity and belonging
  • We cultivate a culture of trust, autonomy, and collaboration
  • We're lifelong learners and champion team member growth and advancement
  • We've got you covered - team member benefits include competitive compensation packages, medical coverage, unlimited PTO and Summer Fridays, wellness reimbursements, Pluralsight subscription, professional development funds and more.
