About the role
We are looking for an Internal Audit Intern to support our Internal Audit Manager in day-to-day audit activities.
This internship is designed for a student or recent graduate who is eager to gain hands-on experience in audit, compliance, and risk management within a regulated fintech environment.
What you will do- Support in the preparation and update of audit documentation (e.g. working papers, audit report, meeting presentation).
- Participate in internal control testing and evidence collection (interviews with auditee, data analysis, etc.).
- Assist in the follow-up of corrective actions with business teams.
- Contribute to reporting activities for the Board of Directors and Internal Committees.
- Support analyses on regulated processes (e.g. AML/KYC, ICT Security, Payment Operations).
- Stay up to date with regulations and best practices in fintech and payments environments.
- Student or recent graduate in Economics, Finance, Law, Management Engineering, or related fields.
- Strong interest in audit, internal control, and compliance.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Proficiency in written and spoken Italian and English.
- Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and team-oriented attitude.
- A 6-month internship with a monthly allowance.
